How Euro-fit Systems Limited handles personal data when you use this website.
This Privacy Policy explains how Euro-fit Systems Limited (referred to as “we”, “us” and “our”) collects and uses personal data when you visit eurofitsystems.com.

What we collect and when
When you fill in our contact form
We collect your name, company name, email address, phone number (if you provide one), the subject of your enquiry and the message you send us. We need this information to respond to you.
Standard web server logs
Like all websites, our hosting provider records your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is used for site security and to ensure the website runs properly. We do not link this data to any individual and we do not use it for marketing or profiling.
Why we collect it
The lawful basis for processing contact form data is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries from existing and prospective customers. If you submit our contact form, you are reaching out to us for a business reason. We use the information you provide solely to respond.
We do not use the data for direct marketing, profiling or automated decision-making.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form enquiries for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond and to maintain a record of our business correspondence. This is typically up to three years from your last contact with us. After that, we delete or anonymise the data.
Server logs are kept for up to 90 days before being purged.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.
We share contact form data only with:
- Our email and hosting providers (such as Microsoft 365 and our website host) to deliver and store communications.
- HM Revenue & Customs, regulators or courts if we are legally required to do so.
These providers are bound by their own data protection obligations and do not use your data for their own purposes.
International transfers
Some of our service providers process data outside the UK. When this happens, we ensure equivalent safeguards are in place under UK GDPR, typically the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an equivalent mechanism.
Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies required for the website to function. We do not use marketing, advertising or analytics cookies on this website.
If this changes in future, this policy and the website will be updated to reflect that.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Have your data deleted, subject to legal exceptions.
- Restrict or object to our processing.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent (if we are processing on the basis of consent).
To exercise any of these rights, email sales@eurofitsystems.com with “Data request” in the subject line.
Complaints
If you are not happy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you remain unhappy, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the “Last updated” date at the top.
